R.I.P. PAUL GRAY

Yet another of Heavy Metal's Horn Flashin' children has passed away. With Dio only a few weeks ago, we now must add SlipKnot bassist Paul Gray to the list of those who have left before their time.

RoadRunner Records could not comment on the nature of his death but initial reports do not suspect foul play.

Numerous different sites are covering this story, so I won't regurgitate too much, instead I offer you the ability to learn more about the man himself as well as some popular vids of him playing with and without his mask.

Ronnie James Dio - Gone but Not Forgotten

After a long battle with stomach cancer, Ronnie James Dio, lead vocalist of Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell, Dio, Rainbow and if you go back far enough, ELF has passed away at the age of 67. Most may know him for his hit song, "Holy Diver" but I will remember him mostly for the man he was off the stage, and his contribution of the "Metal Horns" to this, our culture. Below you can find links about his life and pay your respects as well as a few choice video clips honoring a true metal legend that was the first to KEEP THOSE HORNS HIGH!
